I. Overview
The YL series vertical three-phase asynchronous motors represent an optimized product line developed by our company. This development was based on the assimilation of design and manufacturing technology from Westinghouse Company (USA) and LDW Company (Germany). Drawing upon our extensive experience of over 70 years in designing and manufacturing high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors, this series includes YLKK and YLKS subseries, catering to different cooling methods as per specific requirements.
These motors find versatile applications, particularly in driving vertically mounted pumps and other machinery. They are widely employed in power plants for circulating water pumps, condensate pumps, and various water conservancy pumping stations. The motors can be customized to bear axial thrust loads based on user preferences.
II. Advantages and Characteristics
1. The insulation class of this motor series is F grade, utilizing a top-tier domestic insulation system. High-quality mica tape and environmentally friendly impregnating resin paint are employed, the CNC winding machine, pulling machine, and wrapping machine are used to complete the coil production. The coils undergo VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation) treatment, resulting in low normal dielectric loss, low high-temperature dielectric loss, minimal leakage current for the entire machine, and a very low voltage drop rate during thermal aging. This ensures well-crafted coils with excellent and reliable insulation performance, robust mechanical strength, and high moisture resistance.
2. Leveraging advanced technology from both domestic and international sources, the company employs a "field and circuit" combination method for electromagnetic design. This enhances the accuracy of calculating electromagnetic properties, providing precise information on starting current, starting torque, and starting temperature rise. The goal is to ensure the development of high-efficiency and energy-saving motors. The structural design incorporates Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis, which, validated through practical applications, allows accurate application of boundary conditions to the established mechanical model. This addresses material use accuracy, controls motor vibration and noise, and employs finite element mechanical analysis for high-precision strength analysis of the seat and thrust bearing. This, in turn, enhances temperature rise calculation accuracy in motor design, reduces ventilation loss, and improves overall motor efficiency.
