Overview
TYC-80~355(IP54~IP55) series small-sized low-voltage rotor with cage winding asynchronous starting three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor is a high-efficiency asynchronous starting three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor designed and developed by our company with reference to GB/T22711-2019 Technical Conditions for Three-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (Block No. 80~355), which is featured with novel design and beautiful modeling, compact structure, low noise, low vibration, high torque, good starting performance, strong overload capacity, high reliability, easy to use and maintain. Its efficiency fully meets and exceeds the provisions of GB18613-2012 Small and Medium-sized Three-phase Asynchronous Motors Energy Efficiency Limit Value and Energy Efficiency Class, which is a high-quality, ultra-high efficiency energy-saving motor.
The power level, electrical performance and mounting dimensions and tolerances of this series of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors are all in line with the national standard GB755 "Rotating motor rating and performance", the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IEC34-1 "Rotating motor rating and performance", and the machinery industry standard GB/T4772.1.
The enclosure protection level of this series of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor is IP55 according to GB4942.1 and IEC34-5 "Rotating Motor Shell Protection Level".
The cooling method of this series of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor is IC411 according to the standards of GB/T1993 and IEC34-6 "Cooling method of rotating motor".
The structure and mounting type of this series three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor is IMB3 (horizontal with foot, end cover without flange), IMB5 (horizontal seat without foot, end cover with flange), IMB35 (horizontal seat with foot, end cover with flange), IMV1 (vertical seat without foot, end cover with flange) in accordance with GB/T997 and IEC34-7 "Motor Structure and Mounting Type Code This series of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor
The external mounting dimensions of this series of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors are the same as those of three-phase asynchronous motors of the same specifications of YE2, YE3 and YE4. This series of motors are equipped with starting winding and high-performance rare earth permanent magnets on the rotor, during the starting process, the starting winding generates torque to drag the motor to rotate and start, and when it is close to the synchronous rotating speed, due to the action of permanent magnets, the motor is pulled into the synchronous rotating speed and the motor enters into the normal running state, therefore, the motors can be self-starting and replace the three-phase asynchronous motors of the same specifications as YE2, YE3, and YE4. This series of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor adopts class F insulation, and the temperature rise of the whole series is assessed according to class B, thus greatly improving the safety and reliability.

Application Scope
This series of motors can be used to drive all kinds of general-purpose machinery such as compressors, ventilators, pumps, cutting machine tools, transportation machinery and other mechanical equipment, and used as prime movers in various industrial and mining enterprises such as mines, machinery, petrochemical industry, power plants, etc. The motors used to drive large inertia machinery, such as blowers, coal mills, rolling mills, winches, crushers, belt conveyors should be supplied with the relevant technical data when ordering, and a technical agreement should be signed as the basis for special design of the motor to ensure reliable operation of the motor.
Basic conditions for normal operation of electric motors:
a Altitude not exceeding 1000m.
b The highest ambient temperature does not exceed 40 ºC; the lowest ambient temperature of -15 ºC.
c The wettest monthly average maximum relative humidity is 90%, while the monthly average minimum temperature is not higher than 25 ºC ;
d Power frequency is 50Hz±1%.
e The working voltage range is not more than rated voltage of 5%.
f The duty type is S1.
Starting of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor with cage asynchronous starting (TYC series)
The rotor of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor with cage asynchronous starting adopts advanced calculation technology to calculate the starting temperature rise and stress of the rotor of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor with pang-type asynchronous starting to prevent the motor from being damaged early due to overloading of the starting load. It is recommended that the user verifies that: (1) the rotational inertia of the rotating part of the driven machinery and equipment (after converted to the motor speed) shall not exceed the value in the [Load J] item of the Technical Data Sheet; (2) the user's power grid shall ensure that the motor terminal voltage is not less than 85% of the rated voltage during the starting process of the motor; and (3) the resisting torque characteristics of the driven machinery are of the pumps and fans type resisting torque characteristics.
Under the above conditions, the motor is allowed to be started twice consecutively in the actual cold state, and the motor is naturally stopped between the two starts; or started once in the hot state of the motor. Restarting the motor beyond the above limitations should be after 1 hour of stopping.
If the moment of inertia of the rotating part of the machine to be driven by the motor exceeds the value of [Load J] in the Technical Data Sheet, or if the motor is required to be started frequently, or if there is a possibility that the motor may be started with a heavy load, it is important to contact us in advance for consultation so that a special design is made to ensure reliable starting of the motor.
